Robotic Light Painting
Exploring Spatial Drawing and Time-Based Media Through Robotic Light Traces
This project investigates the intersection of robotics, long-exposure photography, and performative media through the use of an industrial robotic arm to choreograph light movements in space. By attaching light sources to the robotic end-effector and capturing its motion via long-exposure photography, the project creates ephemeral yet precise spatial drawings. It explores how digital choreography, physical movement, and visual temporality merge into a single expressive language, enabling experimentation in both architectural representation and digital art practices.
