Mobile IAQ Monitoring System

SLAM Navigation, Mapping & Sensor Integration

🟡 This project is currently in progress. Final visuals and documentation will be added soon.

This research presents a mobile IoT-based system that enables real-time mapping and monitoring of indoor air quality (IAQ) using autonomous navigation and multi-sensor integration. The platform is built on a TurtleBot3 robot with a dual Raspberry Pi architecture—one handling robot navigation via ROS2 and SLAM, and the other dedicated to IAQ data collection. The system combines eCO2, TVOCs, temperature, humidity, and light sensing with live mapping and data logging. This approach enhances spatial IAQ resolution, offering dynamic insights into how pollutants distribute across indoor environments under real conditions.
