Artistic Robotic Arm

Robotic Portrait Drawing with Ink on Wood Surfaces

This project explores the fusion of robotics and fine art by transforming an industrial robotic arm into a precision drawing machine. By attaching a colored ink pen to the robotic end-effector, the system is programmed to render portraits and illustrations directly onto wooden surfaces. The project aims to bridge the gap between computational design, fabrication technologies, and traditional art-making processes. It demonstrates how robotic automation can extend artistic expression through programmable, repeatable, and scalable techniques, offering new possibilities for craft and representation in architecture, art, and design.
